AT&T Multi Lingual & Game Show Theater

Tradeshow veteran AT&T wanted to capture the attention of attendees while
really providing a valuable experience on a new suite of service offerings for the
business traveler. Though a unique solution, AT&T needed a way to really
contextualize how these services would work for their patrons. To create the link
between the offering and the direct experience, we created a four minute custom
animation demonstrating virtually the services in action. Participants not only
saw the tools, they used the tools. Equipped with wireless keypads and linked to
a network, they were then encouraged to participate in a game identifying key
components of the presentation for prizes. The Theater structure successfully
blocked the distraction of the tradeshow floor, enabling participants to really lose
themselves in the virtual business travelers' world of delayed flights and foreign
phone calls. By shifting the focus from the busy surrounding floor noise, to a
focused presentation and custom interactivity, AT&T successfully engaged and
retained its target. Utilizing two Theaters together, they elevated their throughput
to 72 per hour which was a new benchmark for them for the level of imprint the
presentation achieved. In addition to the tradeshow usage, the Theaters are
now part of a permanent installation at AT&T as a training and product
demonstration tool.
